"Real streams. No bots. No guesswork." is on our homepage. It is worth spelling out what stands behind it.
No bots
There are two ways to make a stream count go up. You can put the song in front of people who might like it, or you can pay someone to inflate the number.
Inflated numbers are tempting because they are cheap and fast. They are also worthless. A bot does not save your song, follow you, come to a show or buy a shirt. Streaming services look for artificial streams as well, and music that picks them up can lose those streams or be taken down.
Λffect only does the first thing. Your ads run on Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and they are shown to real people who choose to listen or keep scrolling. Every stream that follows came from a person.
No guesswork
Ad platforms give you plenty of numbers and very few answers. After a week of spending you can know your click-through rate to two decimal places and still not know whether the ad was any good.
We are building three things to close that gap:
- The ads leaderboard shows where your ad ranks against the other ads on Λffect, so "is this good?" has an answer.
- Spend that follows the winners moves your budget toward the ads that outperform, without you having to watch a dashboard.
- The ad creative school teaches why some ads work, so the next one starts from a better place.
What we will not promise
A stream count.
An ad can put your music in front of the right listeners. Whether they stay is up to the song. Anyone who guarantees a number of streams is either guessing or buying them, and we have already covered the second option.
What we can do is make sure the people who hear your music are real, and that you can see what your money did.
